Long time no update. Sorry. Been trucking along... Carlos is mostly OK. OK. Right now: I'm sitting in the car with the doggies while Carlos has labs done. 3rd day in a row--his potassium is dangerously high (which could cause heart problems)--the transplant team keeps readjusting his meds & testing to see what's working. Level was down yesterday from the day before. My PT is going well--moving on from shoulder mobility to strength-building exercises at Hopkins PT. Renewed the temporary apartment lease through the end of November, will stay longer if Carlos' body chemistry doesn't normalize soon. Not enjoying the hermit life, but know it's necessary for survival right now. I miss my friends, seeing people, hugs. Love having friend Kerry Richard nearby. Also "enjoying" MSNBC & the Rs' antics over the election. Books, Netflix, Prime, Sirius XM Coffee House, & our Broadway score CDs are our friends! We have most of Hamilton down pat!
