Dear Tessa,
I remember when Morgan and I met you and Carlos in Casa Colina 13 years ago. It's hard to believe that it's been that long. Morgan's accident was 14 years ago now. You and I were both so new at being caregivers for our loved ones. We have learned so much over these years, huh?
I am grateful that you continue to share on this website as we all appreciate knowing how Carlos is doing. What an amazing young man with so much determination. God is certainly giving you and Carlos fortitude and strength.
Believe me, I know it's a challenge every day and my prayers continue for you. Please reach out to me anytime, it would be great to chat with you one day.
Love and hugs, Diane Underwood

Thank you for sharing your heart with us Tessa. I love hearing all Carlos is accomplishing!! 13 years and he's still proving those doctors wrong! God provides, He comforts, He heals, He loves, He guides us. I couldn't imagine walking through my journey with Nate without God by my side. Even in the darkest most difficult days He reminds me He's there💗 Being honest and open about our pain brings so much healing. It's OK to miss our guys and speak it out loud. The pain is deep and it hurts. But boy do our guys bring us so much joy and laughter too!! It sounds like Carlos has an amazing caregiver, such a gift! This journey is long but thankfully we have a God that continues to provide just what we need each and every day💗🙏

Stated beautifully as always. I love your heart in your vulnerability to open your heart and let us all in. Yours and Carlos's life are a testament a witness of the Love, Power, Mercy and Grace of God. That He is real, He makes ALL the difference in how we live life well, EVEN and especially in the really challenging times, when we know God is not saying Yes to a prayer for healing "our way" but He does answer - and provides all that we need to live well, with Joy YES Joy, right dab in the middle of the muck. He builds us up? Strengthens our resolve, calms our fears, and grows our Faith and Joy in Contentment in our lives just as we are... imperfect, sinners that we are! And He LOVES us even more@ love you Tess.
