Jeff, my heart just hurts to hear how dire things have become for Carla. You all have been through so much. I am continuing to pray for Carla, you, and your family. May God's love, strength, healing, peace, and comfort wrap around Carla and all of you.

Jeff, thank you for sharing this heartfelt update. It must be exhausting for Carla (and you) to have to explain things to the many friends and loved ones who are inquiring. You and Carla (and your dear family) have all been through so much along this arduous, emotional journey.
I would like you two to know that Carla’s story has inspired many of us as we try to figure out what God wants us to do when we face sometimes heart wrenching decisions along life’s journey. We realize our time on earth is not supposed to be all sunshine and roses, but it may not be easy to see God’s hand in helping us through the hardest of times until afterwards. Hearing Carla’s raw and honest thoughts give us hope that we can also make it through the toughest of times, as long as we put our trust in the Lord to get us through. Having you and your family at her side has to make it more bearable, too!
