Journal entry by Carey Gieser

Today was a stellar day. Last day of chemo, hoorah. I got the ring two bells one in the oncology department and one in the infusion department after treatment today.

Thank you first to my loving family and those that stood by me, to my friends and business clientele. Thank you to all of you that offered to help in various ways and I was too stubborn to accept the help.

I have to give a lot of credit to all you beautiful people that had such kind and encouraging words and prayers through all this health drama since last November. I believe in prayers and that they are answered and get answered every day. However I also understand not everything you pray for is granted.

I also have to mention my sincere gratitude towards all the monetary donations and donations of prizes that will now be raffled off in a raffle. Due to the coved crap the fundraiser scheduled for late August has been canceled.

My heart is full of love and compassion towards all you beautiful people.

As for aftercare I will have blood tests and oncology appointment in a couple weeks or so and in a month or five weeks we will do a scan to look for tumors. For those of you that may not have heard I had a scan 5 weeks ago and there were no tumors,....... yeah that was an awesome day 🤓🤓.

As far as how do I feel at the time of this posting I feel like a million bucks. But I have to admit that the neuropathy has gotten far worse and I hope it improves overtime. Nonetheless I will take the neuropathy over the alternative.

Again I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart and for the support I love you all.

We will fish on.......
