Hello everyone! I hope everyone has been doing your best to navigate through this crazy world of COVID and everything else. 

  I just wanted to update everyone on how powerful prayer is and the mountains you all have moved for our precious little girl!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰🥰😖💜💜 
  

    Caraline Lilly just turned 6 on April 18th and we couldn’t have been more filled with joy to watch her bring in a new year of life CANCER-FREE!!!!!!!!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

   Nothing compares to the feeling of watching your child grow and thrive after living a daily nightmare wondering if she would even live to see another day. 😔 
It’s that absolute WORST place a parent could ever imagine to see your beautiful, loving, sweet lil one going through horrendous circumstances and there is nothing you can do to fix it. Just love them immensely and pray until your tears dry up. 

   This year Caraline Lilly started occupation and physical therapy because the chemo that she was given called Vincristine, can damage the nerves and create motor skill issues in the hands and feet. This ultimately effected the way she was able to grip her pencil when learning to write in Pre-K last year, and that held her back. Also, “foot-drop” was creating many accidents where she was tripping over her own feet due to the lack of feeling in her feet.  Upon closing her second year in Pre-K at St Leos Catholic School this year (2023) she is now able to write her name with clarity and has had less falls due to the amazing people she had helping her at the Comp Rehab Center here in Winston-Salem.

   This year she has had so much fun and met many new friends, including another little girl she shares a cancer battle storyline with. This little girl has been doing well also this year, but has recently relapsed 😔. Her name is Finley Price and she is here on Caring Bridge as well. If you type her name in you can see her page. She is in need of some serious prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 We know what this feels like from going through it, but we have no idea what it would feel like to be back in the saddle again and facing another battle yet even WORSE than before. 

  This is a beautiful loving family that is fighting for a miracle for their little girl, big sister, and best friend to our Caraline Lilly to have a fighting chance at a long life in this lifetime.    Please join us in our daily prayers for the treatment to work and her body to be resilient enough to handle it and see it through to the other side. 💜 We believe in the power of prayer and that God gives these doctors all the knowledge and clarity they need to see how to tackle these demons and restore their healing bodies. ❤️‍🩹
