Eric’s Story

Site created on August 16, 2021

On June 26, 2021, my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor on the right side of his brain, effecting the left side of his body.  This page exists as an update hub in addition to the Captain AmERICa's Army page on Facebook for those who are not on Facebook. This will also serve as a hub for practical aid as we continue on this medical journey.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Leah Mulder

Good morning everyone!

We thought it was time to give you all an update on how Eric is doing. He's finished with his first five days of radiation and chemotherapy. He is often tired, has had some headaches and nausea, some lightheadedness and his sense of taste is being affected off and on, but so far there has been no noticeable hair loss or vomiting, and for that we are very grateful. ♥️

Thank you so much to everyone who has sent prayers, meals, and funds at this time, they have been immensely helpful. ♥️ If you wish to sign up for Meal Train, the link to that is here: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/o1v438. If you wish to donate funds towards Eric's care (as he is still off of work), you can donate here:. https://www.givesendgo.com/captainamericasarmy.

As always, please keep us in your prayers as we continue to press onwards with treatment, that it would be effective against his brain cancer. Thank you. ♥️

We love you all,

Eric and Leah
