Moose, 70 plus yeas ago I was a third grade student in the Earlham school. My parents moved our family from town to the small farm that was my father's ancestral home. The next school year I would be going to the DeSoto school. I was glad to be on the farm but I wasn'tso sure about leaving the friends I had in the Earlham school. My parents were aware of my concern and made sure when it was possible, to get me to town to play baseball at the school. Every boy (man for that matter) needs to know and hear that he's appreciated, that people value him. Without being overly wordy, that he is loved. I know for a fact that my baseball skill was not why my friends were glad to see me show up. At any age we male beings need to know that we are good at doing something. When you are a recent graduate of third grade we are probably graded with some leniency.
Moose you are justified in wondering what that little story is really about. It is just this MOOSE, your friends, family and even casual observers have great respect for you as a fighter. Yep, you can read that as meaning they really do love ya. Now for the second part that follows that message. You are good at demonstrating how to stand up to what you are dealt. Everyone who has been following your journey can (if they are looking) find real encouragement in the way you and your family are fighting the battle.
