Dear Will and Kelly, I am so grateful to you for making it possible to attend the memorial service online. I'll be with you, sing with you and celebrate the life of my great friend Candy. I cannot even begin to list all the wonderful things that I picked up from her -costume making, feeding a crowd of hungry Musical Mondays'children or Christmas concert singers, organising a reception, being a wedding coordinator...- she always was my go-to-friend when I need advice how to blend in 'American customs of any sort'. She helped me so much find my way in the choral family in Santa Cruz, she was always fun to be with. Candy will always be a part of what I do and how I approach the artistic work that I do here. I so often think, what would Candy do ? I 'll keep her on my mind and in my heart forever. Much love and peace to you all, Eva (watching in Germany)
