Matt, you are wise. You are like the great Marcus Smart, who famously said, "When it's time for me to own my territory, then it's time to take over someone else's territory!" You are in my heart buddy.

Matt, once again, I’m awed by your desire to live well. You remind me of a Greek word ‘hupomeno’ that is found in the New Testament, when facing life’s challenges. It means to push back up from under the pressure. I’m watching it lived out in your choices to face pain, to grab love and not let it go, and to laugh often. Thank you for being delightfully YOU. What a gift to my heart!

Matt, thank you so much for sharing this. It's been quite a while since we've spoken (probably since the dorm room days watching Pete and Pete), but I still remember your reading of 'The Puppy Who Lost His Way' on day 1 of our 'Metaphors' class with Bob Dow. Your words are inspiring and really stir up lots of emotion, especially strength and resilience. I look forward to reading more of your journey as well as your book when it is complete! Wishing you continued strength, laughter and overall good times.

This is what I meant when I said I appreciate that your comments are often brilliant and always authentic. I am glad to read that you and Victoria have “an explicit ethos around emotional expression” because I imagine for the two of you this is healthy. I am grateful she is with you. I love you, Matt.

Matt, I continue to be amazed at your maturity through this journey. Thank you for sharing it with us. I think about when you lived in East Longmeadow with your family and I would babysit you all. It seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago. I will look forward to reading your book. Much love to you! ❤️
