Becky, Happy Easter to you and your lovely family. Thanks for these truly wonderful words of wisdom from your man and our friend. We think of C.A.M. and all of you often. We came across photos of you both from a wedding and another from party that you had in Adam's Morgan.
Mary and I talked about C.A.M. I often imagine what he would have been like during the time of Jesus. I see him rising early in the morning, encouraging others to start their days so they could get a closer seat to the Messiah to listen to His teaching, sitting down buckling up his sandals (can't stop but thinking of those sandals as more like Birkenstocks and not flip flops) and telling people that he was going to listen to the Christ. He would have rocked that time, just like he did ours/his.
But in all, during the time of Jesus's Death and His Resurrection, today would have been the one day he would have shined like no other. Can't you see it. C.A.M. running through the streets, "I knew it. He is Risen. He is the Christ. Let's Celebrate. His Death has brought us Life. He is the Son of God. Alleluia." Despite how some people would have thrown stones at him, but he would just look back at them with that smile of his. He was a committed believer and he would have loved this moment nearly 2000 years ago.
I know that he is in Heaven today looking upon you, CJ, Alden, Caroline and his entire extended family. He is beaming with the stories of each of you and sharing them with other believers in Heaven. If they are rocking some celestial music, he beating the drums, smiling and singing.
