On April 19th, 2018, I was given a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia – an aggressive form of blood cancer.  My prognosis is pretty good with about 60% cure rate on the table with chemotherapy alone.  There are many variables in regards to outcomes and potential other/further treatment but the fact that I’m under 60 and healthy are definitely positives in my column.

On Saturday, August 4th, 2018 my Dad, Calvin went to be with the Lord after battling Leukemia for 3 & 1/2 months. Thank you all for your prayers and support through out his journey with cancer. We greatly appreciate it!
