Judith, I was able to attend Cal's Celebration of Life gathering and was especially touched by William's eulogy to his father. Unfortunately, I was having a difficult day with my MS and had to leave early and return home to rest. This meant I was unable to greet you in person but be assured my thoughts were with you. We have a beautiful Madrona on our lake property which when I look out the window will serve as another fond reminder of Cal.

Hi Judith, Thank you got making it possible to attend Cal’s Celebration virtually. I found it very moving. You looked beautiful in your party dress and I’m happy to hear that the party went as Cal wished. I received my poster on March 11 and I’m looking forward to putting it up near our forest here. I’ll be planting my trees in my new greenhouse. When they are old enough I’ll find good homes where they will be in the right climate.

I appreciate being able to see this journey; thank you for including me.

If coming east, please let me know if you have time to visit.

Much love,

Katherine
