I am crying as I read this. Tears of remembering that horrible time and all you went through and tears of joy that she made it and has become such an inspiration. And tears of thankfulness for your whole family. YOU are a special friend and also hold a special place in my heart!!!

I remember when we were told at school. We fell to our knees emotionally. It was hard to tell the class CaL wouldn’t be with us for parts of the year. We loved her every step of the way. That beautiful bundle of sass has an extra-special spot in my❤️. I’ll never look at silly string without smirking. I too could not be prouder of that phenomenal girl! 😘
