Caitlin’s Story

Site created on May 11, 2018

In February 2018, Caitlin started to notice stomach pains. Her doctors thought it was acid reflux or indigestion and offered her treatments for her symptoms. In April, the pain had increased and her doctor sent her to get a CT scan. The scan revealed a large mass on her pancreas and several masses in her liver. Shortly after the CT scan, a liver biopsy confirmed our worst fears, Caitlin has pancreatic cancer that had metastasized to her liver. This diagnosis is shocking due to her age and overall health.
