I just learned about Bill through Niche Media. I was really moved and touched by his journal entries. He must have been a really special man who built a wonderful community, judging from all of these comment and poems and references to the Meat Suit. Sending big heart from Brooklyn. – Danny

Peter Lawson and I walked alongside Bill, his family and friends from so very far away, but his courage and everyone else's too was just incredible to see, Rest in Peace Bill of the Birds, and may courage, grace, peace and acceptance be there for those you leave behind.
Your legacy is amazing, but I've always said, you don't leave your shoes for someone else to step into, you take them with you, and they bring their own to bring THEIR gifts to 'the party'.....God be with Your strong Mom/Wendy/Julie/Liam and Phoebe and all others who were so so close......you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I’m very sorry for everyone’s loss. I’ve been an avid “disciple “ for years and years. Much love and respect to all💕💕

I will miss Bill's stories and bird comments. His smiling face as in this month's article I will remember for a long time.
His view of the birds in heaven sure must be wonderful to look down on. He will see the rest he wanted to see.
My sympathy goes out to his family and friends he worked with.

Bill I feel your energy
It resonates so loud
I walk outside and it hits me
From the birds, the trees, clouds

Fear not for those you left behind
Your time was not in vain
We wish you were still with us
But glad you are not in pain

You touched so many in your life
In ways I wish you knew
Your meat suit might be gone from here
But your spirit still shines through

It's in the song of any bird
Or a note that rings so true
We thank you again for sharing with us
The gift of knowing you

Miss you!

Oh Bill, I loved that meat suit but the juicy goodness inside even more. Your migration has ended but you live on....on the wings of every bird that has touched your heart....every person's heart that has been touched by you. We are blessed to have known you.

Do not stand by my Grave and weep
By Mary Elizabeth Frye

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

This is so wonderful - thank you so much for sharing this. His passion for everything was clear as day. We feel very lucky to have gotten the few moments with him on this planet that we did have. Live life to the max every day -thank you Bill for helping me see that more clearly.
