My Mom is in a nursing home and doing pretty well. She has talked about seeing Dad (who is gone), and talks about her brothers and her Dad (that are gone) I don't doubt that this is real.
Although we miss those we love when they leave, we remember that they are in a perfect world that we will sometime be joined with... and them, too.

The times I have been privileged to walk alongside someone I love as they have been in their final months, weeks and days, it has been a holy experience. I agree with Dr. Cawley - it is as natural as birth, as life, as breathing. And what a gift to get to have these days together. Much love and strength to you Wendy. as you soak up every moment. What a gift it is to Bill to have you there embracing it all with him.

How beautiful. I dont know you, Wendy, but most assuredly feel the love you and Bill have for each other. Blessings on you and your family.
