While I cannot fathom the diagnosis & treatment you are now undergoing, I can relate to over-thinking. I cannot quiet my mind of thoughts of my parents, my upbringing. Thankfully, most of all that was positive, so I must think positive thoughts. As an over-thinker (poster child), I would encourage you to think of all the positive things you have experienced, accomplished, enjoyed and, most of all, have yet to experience. The positives FAR exceed the negatives. Continued positive thoughts & prayers to you & Wendy & your families........--Ruth Devol

You continue to write such poignant interesting thoughts, Bill. I appreciate your updates as they reflect what you can still do after suffering such painful effects. We are all praying that the chemo is working away. I do think in the pictures of you that Julie took when you were having your hair cut, that you look healthier and stronger compared to the ones with the xmas tree in it.
Sending you a bushel of love! Joyce Stone , NE PA

Hey Bill... I´ve been following all the development and fights you are putting up to this illness. I am so proud of you for being so brave and for teaching us so much through your messages. Keep writing and let us know how you are feeling. Don´t feel guilty, that feeling is part of the illness, so shake it off as well! Share some nice thoughts as what was the most amazing bird you saw in Colombia..

I don’t know you well, from afar like most. I’ve met you a couple of times but mostly in passing. But your story about guilt is one I can relate to. As a cancer survivor of almost 14 years, I still remember that feeling of guilt. As you said, it’s not a rational thought but it was there none the less. One thing my dad told me that made sense was that people want to help because they feel helpless. So one way that you can help them is to let them help you. Or something along those lines. 😀 But it made sense to me.
Hang in there. You’re in a dog fight, but one you can win. Hugs and 👊. You’re in my prayers.
