We are so grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support that everyone has shared over the past weeks. It has been an incredible source of comfort and hope. We are using this website to keep family and friends updated in one place. Please feel free to share it with anyone who would like to know how Bryan is doing, or is wondering if there is a way to help Suzanne and the family.
Please also feel free use the zoom link to access the evening rosary, open to all, which will be said daily at 9 PM EST. The link is in the "Ways to Help" section.

A Little Background.....
Bryan has been in the hospital since November 19th being treated for Covid and breathing complications. He was originally admitted to Suburban Hospital, where he was on oxygen for about a week and subsequently put on a ventilator. He was transferred to George Washington Hospital on November 29th so he could have the option of an ECMO machine (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation).

We will be posting updates on Bryan's condition in the journal portion of this website. For those wishing to help the family please check out the "Ways to Help" tab above. We are not raising money for the Barreras at this time (see Dec. 4 journal entry), but if/when we do, we will put up a link in the "Ways to Help" section.

A note on the "Tributes" icon. It is not directly connected to us and our management of this page. Tributes is managed and run by CaringBridge and all donations go directly to them for their use.

Dear Family and Friends,

I am so happy to share with you that we will be having a Mass of Thanksgiving for Bryan's recovery on November 19, 2022! It is a year, to the day, from when he went into the hospital. It has been a year of incredible grace and blessings.

I know many of you had your own extended circles who were praying so much for us. Please share this with anyone who may wish to join us, and they are welcome to do the same. It is an open invitation!
