Journal entry by Pam Borowczyk —
We all made it through the holidays without any major crisis. Thank goodness. Things have been going in a positive direction and the tumors continue to shrink. However, Bruno has been battling an infection in his right arm which has been difficult to overcome. Due to his compromised immune system this is not unusual for people going through cancer treatments.
However we now have a new concern. A drastic drop in iron levels. With many trips to the doctors office in the last couple weeks and consultations from his Hematologist it has been determined that a bone biopsy is our next course of action. We pray that the cancer has not moved into his bones. If so, we will conquer that obstacle as well, one day at a time. Please keep Bruno's in your thoughts and prayers and remember.......No one beats cancer alone. Thank you for your support.
