It was so sweet to get your recent note. Seems that regardless of your very real pain and struggles your words always encourage me. Yes, thank you for being vulnerable. I know you were encouraged and blessed to be at church with those smiles and beautiful hymns. Thank you so much for opening your heart,
Loving you and praying,
Fran
What a joy it was to see your beautiful smile at church! We, too, have been attending virtually. Such a blessing to be able to return. Much love to you, Susan.
Well written! Two things stood out to me;
The effect hymns have on you and Bible verses also (specifically, Ps.37:7a ) I could identify with both of these areas in my life.
Susan. although you didn’t know me well, my wife went home to Jesus after 29 years of marriage. And Landon, my son who you probably knew, two years later passed at 19 in a car accident as fell asleep as he drove home from being Bryant’s best man 2 days earlier.
So, your story tonight touched me in places that those who have only lost one out of time can know.
But isn’t it true that we also know, as you said, “... the Lord will guide you always,”
Thank you for sharing. You are not alone. Sending God’s love to you across the miles.
How can time stand still and move forward at the same time? Thank you for being vulnerable, Susan. And thank you for sharing your heart. Huge maskless hug to you, especially tonight.
Loving you and praying,
Fran
