Dave made chicken Cordon Bleu last night. It was good. We ate the leftovers for lunch today.

Did I say that this weekend, my sister and niece were here from Texas? This is the first time the family has gotten together in over a year. Although we still weren't *all* together. On Saturday, Dave and I had tea outside for them and my mother. Dave made berry scones and banoffee curd.

Saturday night, I, my sister, and my niece went over to my brother's house. Dave didn't come because he and my nephew have not yet had their second shots. My mother didn't go because she was too tired. The rest of us had pizza.

We still had our Sunday night Zoom call even though most of us were in town.

I am pretty booked up for May, after having virtually no social engagements for over a year! One of my May engagements is visiting you, so see you then!

Hey!! You/Me different houses "sitting together" everyone... Don't know if I'm supposed to drive. Leave it up to the DMV to frack things up for me. But, I'm happy.

Glad to hear that the hummingbirds are back. I've never seen one, but they seem like pleasant little souls. And good luck with turning the ringers down, Bruce--I'm learning the hard way it's hard to do what you need to do when you're short of sleep.

I spent two hours walking the streets today, greeting voters and giving them my flyer. But now I'm too exhausted to do much of anything else. Tomorrow we're supposed to have rain in the afternoon, so maybe I'll get a chance to catch up.

Have a peaceful night. Dream of hummingbirds, enjoying the sugar syrup you put out.

Cutting the grass is a wonderful accomplishment! Our excitement of the week is that we had our entire roof replaced yesterday. Now, all we have to do is wait for the first good rain to see if it was done right. :)
