Journal entry by Brooke Zickert

Today I am grateful for God being with us every day for the past almost 15 months. We see His hand in our lives daily. He is always providing for us financially and His peace and joy is just a prayer away. It’s amazing to see people that we know and love and people that we have not met yet offer to help us in unimaginable ways. When we started standard of care over a year ago they said plan a vacation. A getaway to celebrate completing the 6 weeks of radiation and chemo. That was just way too soon to even consider as I was still healing from surgery and the side effects of the SOC. So we decided to wait until spring break 2024 and it’s finally here!!  Thankful to utilize my in laws timeshare and get out of WI!!    We are reflecting on all the new memories that we got to make with family and friends this year and many more ahead!  God willing. I’m feeling really good and we pray daily that God is making a way for many more years. We definitely have rough days but we lean into Him and each other and we keep seeing. God winks daily. Whenever I need a boost. I listen/worship with the #godsgotthis playlist on Spotify I have friends that pray for me daily and send me the songs and devotionals that touch them and God puts on their heart to send my way. Grateful for each one. You are all a huge blessing to me!!  Love, Brooke. I am praying for you all who read this that you feel Gods peace that surpasses understanding and see His hand in your life as well. If you have any special prayer requests please send to me. ❤️. Happy Birthday Tiff!  One of my big prayer warriors and great friend . 💕
