I had just bought a bike at a thrift store, and I was towing it while riding my bike (see pic 1). I’m an experienced rider but I hadn’t done this in a long time. I had gone several blocks and I was gaining confidence, when I hit a bump or something and the bikes became entangled, causing me to fall.

It wasn’t an extraordinary fall by any means, the friend who was riding with me was waiting for me to dust myself off and continue the ride. When I went to stand up was when I first noticed a problem, that is, I couldn’t stand up. We looked closer at my right leg and we could tell something wasn’t right, whereupon we called for an ambulance.
