This may come as a shock to you but Brody has been gone for almost a year.
For us it’s a mixed bag of very specific details and messy emotions and it might as well have been just yesterday.
That’s how fresh it still feels.
A lot of you were able to join us in November for Brody's memorial service/celebration of life.
Some of you flew in and some joined via the livestream. We felt your support and continue to feel your love.
Next Tuesday 3/8 marks the one year anniversary of our loss and we want to ritualize the date with a gathering.
We are touched that so many of you reached out to us with ideas to honor him. It warms our hearts and reminds us again of our incredible community. With the help from your ideas, here’s our plan:
CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR BRODY MARKING HIS 1ST YEAR
4:30pm Gather for hugs- a time to give & receive ~~ music will be provided by our zen friend, Damon the drummer ~~~
5:00pm Light candles & recite the Tibetan prayer
5-6pm We’ll have an open microphone for anyone who wants to share a story or memory .
**We will have an altar in the front yard near the Aspen trees that we planted when he was born.
There you can place a special picture, stone, candle or anything you’d like to share in honor of our beloved, Brody.
