Brian overdosed on pain medication in the early morning hours of July 5th, 2019.  When his mom, Pat discovered him around 12 pm on the 5th, Brian was rushed to the emergency room in Monmouth, IL before being taken to Peoria Children's Hospital in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit.

Good Morning. We wanted to let you all know that there will be area Pastors, Counselors and other helpers at the MRHS gymnasium today beginning at 9 am. We invite anyone who would like to talk with someone about the last few days and how they are feeling to be able to do so. Plus, they’ll be donuts and juice!
