Today I completed round 3 of chemo! That’s a big round for me as that means I’m half way done with the cap treatment! This is big deal for me. I have been frustrated with every treatment because of them. The cold doesn’t bother me, although WICKED cold, it’s the chin strap that puts a lot of pressure on my jaw driving me crazy.
I have to wear it for a total of 6 1/2 hours (2 1/2 during and 4 hours after treatment.) they are changed out every 25 minutes. Although there are a lot of rules for hair maintence through this process and even 6 months after. The most work is for my cold cap team. I could do it with them! Thank you Mary and Chris! And everyone else for your support. I know if it wasn’t them there are plenty of others who would have offered to be there with me. I’m greatful for the encouragement along the way to keep me positive about it. Because, ITS WORKING!
