Journal entry by Mackenzie Williams

From Mommy:

Today’s the day I post the message I have dreaded and feared for two years. Brian told us while we were all together last night that he is done. His body is worn out, the pain is too great, and there is no path to recovery. He is at peace. He is not scared. He is ready for heaven. This picture is him lifting his weary arm as we sang worship songs this afternoon. He will be entering Hospice care tomorrow, inpatient initially to get pain under control. We hope to bring him home before he goes HOME. When he was diagnosed, I truly felt like I can’t live without him. Two years later I’ve learned, I can, I just don’t want to. Time has been tender and extra dear these past 2 years and I thank God for every moment…the good, great, and hard. And I will be forever grateful that I got to be Brian Koch’s wife. Pray for the pain in his body and in our hearts!💔
