Journal entry by Heather Whitchurch

From Laurel and Brian Sr

As most of you know, Brian has been home for a week now. He continues to improve although he has learned the hard lesson of over doing it and paying a high painful price.  So these days he is being more careful. He wears his neck brace as instructed and has appointments with Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy. Of course he cannot drive as long as his neck must remain in a brace so most of the time Karly drives him where he needs to go. At this point we are expecting a complete recovery possibly with some residual additional aches and pains. It’s going to take awhile to heal physically but he’s going to make it.

Brian has his phone and is fully capable of communicating on his own so we won’t be posting further updates on this site. We are amazed that there have been more than 12,600 visits.  So many of you have asked what you can do for us and many have been able to help in big and small ways.  That has really touched us!  We are grateful to God for what He has done to bring Brian back to us. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers.
