Your family has been on my mind lately and I was happy to see recent updates posted. I was a patient care tech on the 3rd floor after Brian was stable enough to leave the ICU. I’ve been a nurse on the same floor for a little over 2 years now, and staff on our floor still talk about Brian. He was really such a light on our floor and made such a huge impact on everyone - the positive impact healthcare workers needed during the pandemic. Your family really touched so many lives and your light has left a lasting mark.
I’m sorry to hear that there continues to be stressors and struggles to work through. I pray you all continue to grow together and continue to spread your light. Thank you to you both for making such a difference in my life while at the hospital.
So thankful for the update. Somehow I did not get the update email I used to when you post here. I made sure it was active to not miss an update. Your family has been through a lot I love the strength you have to do your best to keep your household moving along. Praying for God to put his arms around all of you!! I can’t believe Kennedi will be 18!! Such a sweet girl!!

Thank you so much for the latest update. Yes, there are many of us following your and Brian’s story, and still praying for a full healing in God’s time. You’ve been so strong for so long, and I’m confident that’s because you’re being held in God’s hand. Please don’t feel like we don’t want to hear any more of your sadness I think it just helps sometimes to write it out and see it. We’ll continue to lift you up in prayer, as long as there’s a need.
