Brett Warner has been missing since Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. We will be posting updates on this site for friends and family to follow.

He has been battling severe depression and anxiety, and we are deeply concerned for his safety. He was last seen walking the Lakeline Mall area in Cedar Park, Texas.

Newest Update

Journal entry by Eric warner

We have an update from late last night.  Brett’s body was found  in the woods 500 yards from the front of apartment complex where they live.  A homeless person walking in the woods/ brush  found him and called the police.   As we suspected, he took his own life.
Many prayers for closure have been answered, and we are so grateful to God for that.
It’s heart-wrenching to think about Brett’s final moments, but we understand it was his depression, and we know he is finally without any  pain.   He is sitting in paradise at the right hand of God in His immense glory.

All of our wonderful family members and friends have been such a loving and concerned group. We appreciate all you have done through loving and steady  prayers, meal provisions, on-foot search parties, and people that spread the word and called in every favor to help find Brett.  Thank you also for the incredibly generous contributions to the GoFundMe campaign. Any residual funds will help the family with medical bills and lost income incurred during these last six months.
Your kindnesses will always provide comfort as we now mourn this loss with closure.

Please pray for Brett and our family, as well as all suicidal candidates and their families , that they may find a path to resolution.

Thank you to Wolfe Investigations and their energy, support and diligence in this search.  Their  team's commitment to this cause was uplifting and had given us realistic hope for resolution .  Their team was swift, professional, caring  and thorough.
Thank you also to the Austin Police Department for initiating search proceedings in record time, including the helicopter search with infra-red technology and the TEXSARS search dogs that had covered 15 square miles behind the apartment complex.
Thank you to the drone enthusiasts that interrupted their lives to help us. and psychic contributions that all helped in the details of the search.

Please also pray for the homeless population, and their families that are looking for their loved ones in the encampments.  🙏 💔
