Patty, you never cease to amaze me. So beautifully expressed and such a loving post. Im in awe of your strength, and so impressed by how Bret lived the last year. You are both a blueprint for how to live, love and stay positive through such a difficult diagnosis. There is no doubt that your combined positive attitude kept him here for so long. The way Bret handled Cancer was amazing. He never let the pain stop him. Having you and the kids by his side made all the difference. He truly showed the love for his family too. Patty, I know I've said this before; you and Bret are such an inspiration to me and to do many others. I thank God you were able to have the type of last year with him you did.
