Hello All - 

 

It is with great joy and appreciation that we write this with Brendan. 

 

We received the great news last week that Brendan is cancer free. We learned that doctors don't refer to a cancer patient as cured until they are cancer free for 5 years, but there is no cancer in Brendan's body. Amazing.

 

Brendan has been home now with no hospital stays for over two months, is once again eating well and exercising and is making great strides in regaining his pre-cancer strength. 

 

He is still working through short-term memory issues and some confusion with timelines, but the doctors are confident he will get both back with time and continued healing.. 

 

He has already been down to watch his players skate and is very much looking forward to resuming his normal life.

 

He wants you all to know how much he loves and appreciates you, your prayers, and the support you have provided our family.
