Family and Friends, Lauren has been sick and went back to school for the first time today. I will be going to work on Monday March 2. Andrea will fly back to Spain on March 1. Pray for the corona virus to slow down so that she can finish her semester. Ben and Katie are back to work and I am lucky to be able to see them again this weekend.
Thank you all very much for the continued prayer While we are deeply hurt, but knowing Brenda is dancing in heaven comforts us. Your generosity to the Family- liaison fund for our west bend public schools has been amazing. We have fantastic followers managing the fund and It is going to be hugely impact-ful for our kids in West Bend that are truly in need.
Brenda was an amazing Wife, Mother, Teacher and Friend. Her strength and joy came from Jesus. In Ephesians 2:8 , Paul tells us "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast" God created us to do good works but not with salvation as the reward, because salvation is already free. This verse brings me peace in this nightmare. Brenda set an amazing example of how to live for God and to do it with JOY.
Many of you have offered assistance with house hold chores. We have kept up pretty well with Andrea here and with Me home until the end of this week. KBC has Shannen Burke as my point person. Shannen is a blessing to us and is a wonderful servant. Shannen can be reached at sburke@kettlebrook.org
