Journal entry by Brandee Heidelberg

So I started this caring bridge tonight to get out all my frustration and anger that I have regarding my husband's cancer diagnosis.  January a small nodule was discovered and it was determined to be cancerous (non small cell carcinoma). We decided to keep quiet about the diagnosis as my husband is a private person however as the days passed the tumor grew bigger. We sought a second medical opinion who advised us that lobectomy (lung removal) was not an option for my husband. My husband could do chemotherapy and radiation so we opted for this treatment.  7 weeks daily radiation and chemotherapy once a week for 7 weeks. I guess I figured 7 weeks and our lives would resume some normalcy. Cancer has a way of sucking the life out of you. They found another nodule in his left lung. I just want to pull my hair out. When does my husband get a break?
