This morning started out wonderful. They are working on lowering his IV pain medication drip and one of his sedation medications today. 

When I arrived at the hospital, Brady was awake and rowdy. He has gotten to the point where he knows the tubes are there and he does everything in his power to try to get his hands on them. I had to restrain his left hand, and in that moment he pinched me and tried to move my hand to try to get back to the tubes. It’s nice to see his fight that he has. 

Today they are going to do a bronch scope to look in his lungs and try to suck out the gross stuff that is in his lungs. 

Other than that, we are just working on trying to keep him awake and calm. He’s doing well breathing and things are looking good for today. 

We have a long road, ahead, but we are going to make it.
