I have not taken yoga with Brad for over 2 years, but I just saw this email in an account I don't normally check. Yesterday while practicing yoga online with another studio I heard a song on the playlist that was shared and it was a song that Brad used to play when he taught a Wed. or Mon. night class that only a few of us atttended. It brought Brad to my mind and I am so glad I learned of his passing. I am Catholic and will have a Mass said for him at my church soon. He was such a great yoga teacher and I so enjoyed his spirit!

Maryann and John my dearest friends, my heart is broken. As a parent I can' t even imagine the sorrow of loosing a child. I have followed this site everyday and prayed for miracles and peace for you and your family in these most difficult times. One thing I did learn was that Brad always seemed to have such a positive impact on others. His compassion and dedication to his yoga community was incredible. He brought kindness, comfort and peace to so many. Be Proud of who he was and always will be in our hearts.

I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of swimming with Brad at IWU. I have fond memories of watching him swim the 200 butterfly. I can't think of anybody on the men's team that particularly enjoyed the race other than Brad. He had an admirable passion for overcoming challenges in the pool and the classroom. It's been very comforting to read all of the heartfelt comments from the people Brad touched in the Niyama yoga community. We were all blessed to have had such a passionate and kind soul in our lives.

I cannot imagine how difficult it is for a family, especially Brad's parents, to be in this situation at this time when the simple gesture of a hug is not possible. I hope that these virtual expressions of grief continue to be of comfort to you. Brad was an amazing spirit with a unique ability to connect with people. May his memory be a blessing💕 Namaste and peace to you, your family, and everyone who is touched by his passing.
