Brad’s Story

Site created on January 1, 2022

I have always thought I could work through my problems and things will be ok.  With health that’s not so easy.  I have been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung disease.  I am not a smoker of anything or a vape…go figure.  I’m a fighter and a lung transplant is my only option.  It’s 2022 and I have been working with UW Madison, WI to get approved for transplant.  Yesterday I finished the testing phase.  Now we wait until  the middle of January for approval. I am seeking great vibes as Cheryl and I continue this journey.  I know my life won’t ever be normal.  I’ll always need to take drugs the rest of my life.  It’s not an easy surgery.  I am a fighter and am thinking positive and hoping for the best. Cheryl has be wonderful and supportive to me.  I will try to journal when I have news.  Thank you for being my family and friends, Brad
