Yes, today the world lost an amazing educator, husband, father, and grandfather ! I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Doug well, but always enjoyed brief visits with him when at his home or at social events with Laura. Cherish the wonderful memories.

SO sorry to hear this. Doug was one of the first people I met when moving to Bozeman, an MSU faculty colleague and a hiking companion. We will all miss him. May his memory be a blessing,

Dear Laura...Doug was such a great friend from when he first got involved with Wonderlust Friday Forum years ago through all the fun years we shared on the WL board. Always willing, always fun. My heart goes out to you. Eva Patten

Dear Laura, Nikki, and Allison, I'm so sorry to hear about Doug's passing but am glad he's no longer suffering. He was a great colleague and always had a smile and a lighthearted attitude that made being around him a joy. We had lots of fun running, training, and completing the Bridger Ridge Run together over the years. He loved you all and I loved it when he would share stories and brag about your accomplishments. It was obvious how much he loved and cherished you three. Sending positive vibes your way.

So terribly sad. Doug was a rare and special person, with always a cheery word to make ones day. How can we help?
