In June 2018, Bonnie was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. She underwent weekly chemo treatments from July through November 2018 at HCMC Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Bonnie was admitted to Mayo Clinic on December 14, 2018 for stem cell transplant procedure on December 24. 2018. Bonnie is currently staying at the "Gift of Life House" in Rochester, MN.  She is expected to remain there through  the month of January. Bonnie is currently on the road to recovery from the procedure and continues to improve daily.
