The reason this is so tough is because he is so wonderful and because of your special relationship with him - all blessings! I miss him too and we're all better because of him. And we've all had a lot more laughs too. God bless you, him, and your whole family!

Oh Julia, you are such a prize. My heart aches for you and your whole beautiful family. You all truly have a magic about you that probably started long before your grandparents. It is now your responsibility to keep that going (I must say you seem as if you are doing an outstanding job at it). Happiness really is there, it may have to be found with intention now though. The more you find it the easier it is to feel. It's very much muscle memory.
