Joan,
Psalm 116:15 says “How precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of His servants.” Thank you for taking the time to share with us the “preciousness” of Bob’s last day spent with his precious family,
worshipping his precious Lord. We know he is hearing “Well done my good and faithful servant”. I am praying the blessing Jesus promises to those who mourn over you and your precious family.

Such beautiful words Joan, thank you for sharing. Bob was a man of great character and strength ... and it was a blessing to witness his devotion to God, his deep faith and his tremendous love for his family. May he rest forever in the arms of his heavenly Father, free from all pain and suffering. You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Joan, what a beautiful end to a rightly-ordered, Christ-centered life! Bob was a true soldier for Christ and courageous witness to the faith and I’m so thankful that you and your family surrounded him in prayer as he passed from this world.
I was offering the rosary and noon mass for him today, not knowing his condition at the time, but praying for a happy death.
May God rest Bob’s soul and comfort you and your family as you grieve your deep loss. You will all continue to be in my prayers.

Joan, I think I was also praying the rosary about that time....as I went for a walk as I prayed around then. Bob was the focus of my intentions. It was a particularly joyful mystery because I kept imagining him in Heaven in Our Lord's arms, with Our Mother. Thank you for sharing those beautiful final moments gathered in such LOVE. We are sad with you and will miss him very much....but entirely entrust him to God's tender loving care and mercy. Big hug for all!

I am so sorry for your loss. It is nice that he was surrounded by those he loved. I am sure he is being welcomed into heaven by His parents, mine and his brother.

I love you Joan. The only thing I can say to offer you comfort is instead of thinking Bob isn’t here ...think Bob is there, in paradise 🙏

Continued abundance of blessings and grace's to the family, now that Bob has entered the stadium to intercede for his family and friends, face to face with our Father. Our hearts and souls mourn with the Stromberg Family. May God's peace continue with you all during this time of mourning.
