Hello Bob and Felipe,
I have been keeping up with your progress through friends. Today, I finally got on Caring Bridge for myself to keep up with your journey. My husband Jack has been on a similar journey this year starting in March 2021. He had stage 3 and 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphphoma large B cell yada yada. The yada yada part was different from Bob’s. Jack went through the same, very strong and difficult pain As Bob at the time of diagnosis. Jack finished chemo August 2021 and just had his third follow up scan June 6, 2022. All has been well with the scans and this was his third one. Jack had Hodgkin’s lymphoma over 16 years ago and has been considered cured of that disease. Jack’s chemo was basically the same cocktail but delivered in such a way that an older person could tolerate it. We saw so many changes in what the medical community has discovered about lymphoma. It was very encouraging to experience the benefit of those changes. You are in our thoughts and prayers as well as please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Jack is doing very well. Basically resuming his life as before, just not as strenuous. . He also had the obstacle having a large portion of his colon removed before chemo could begin. It has created obstacles that we are being very successful and creative in overcoming.. God has been with us through this journey and provided alternatives and ideas and help when we felt like we could not figure out what to do. To God Be the Glory! I agree that Nathan, your mom and dad are some of the finest that have walked the earth. They are such a blessing to all that know them.
