Hi Bob. I hope you remember me and I certainly remember you. I saw Voelker last night at the SLU-Princeton men's hockey game. SLU beat Princeton and the SLU contingent was bigger than you'd expect. Events like this are a reminder that I was lucky to be school with so many cool people. The Princeton contingent seemed like a fine group of people but the Larries were laughing the loudest even while we were losing. My husband Jim Taylor was the class of '85 and we knew each other in school but re-met after college. I mention this because Jim is friendly with Rich Hamilton, who is part of your longtime ADK posse from what I gather. We should try to connect next summer because Jim and I have had a camp in Long Lake for 10 years. We do not havea long family history there like you but it is so wonderfully isolated up there. I especially loved reading about your wood stove because I think this embodies the magic of the ADK's at all times of year. At school, I recall that you were always an upbeat and optimistic person. I'm glad you are able to share your journey and that Voelker told me about this site. Love to you and your family.
H Bob, thank you so much for this update, I love hearing about your many get togethers with dear friends and family. Keene Valley looks amazing too. You continue to inspire with your courage, sense of humor, and knack for eloquent yet grounded communication. Love and energy being sent from the land of 10,000 lakes to the land of George Washington.
Bob: Thanks for the detailed update. I love the pics of your family place and so happy you got to spend some time with family and friends in such a beautiful location. Love that you are moving forward with the road work on your property. Keep moving forward brother. This new treatment sounds encouraging. Godspeed.
Thanks for the update, Bob. I am glad you were able to get into the woods! This a great audio book “ the secret life of groceries”. The author reads it and is very passionate. I will continue praying for you as well as visualizing you charging back up a 46r! Peace, Sandy
Oh Bob, we are so happy you were accepted into the trial!
It was great seeing you and Tori at Rushing Brook, and we are so glad you got to go to MI. Keep us posted, and remember we are just a phone call away. As soon as our house sells (fingers crossed), we could come down to help if you or Tori need us. We continue. to keep you in our thoughts, prayers, and meditations. Stay strong my dear friend...which I know you will. We love you all!!!
