When I saw you at Shambhala (quite a while ago now -- I've been out of town for a month), I felt such joy because I was so worried for you for so long, and now to see you walking and talking and, most of all, with us once again! You're not the only one who was blessed -- it made my day. Stay healthy, OK?

Your writing evoked so many emotions, Bob. You write with such clarity. And beauty. A sign of a good writer, to me, is when the words and story won’t let go, long after one reads something. I echo what so many of your loved ones have said. Bob, it is an amazing gift to hear and feel you through your own voice, in your own powerful writing. The story of being pulled from the river at age 4 and your clear memories of that event are staggering.
