Bob, you are an inspiration. So determined to gain back what you'd lost, and it's happening for you in a big way! When I saw you at Shambhala (quite a while ago now -- I've been out of town for a month), I felt such joy because I was so worried for you for so long, and now to see you walking and talking and, most of all, with us once again! You're not the only one who was blessed -- it made my day. Stay healthy, OK?

Your writing evoked so many emotions, Bob. You write with such clarity. And beauty. A sign of a good writer, to me, is when the words and story won’t let go, long after one reads something. You have done just that; I read this when it was posted, and it has stayed with me every day since. Welcome back; it’s nice to have you! Big love to you and Char.

Bob, it is so amazing to hear your voice through your written words. They nourish my soul and help me to see and feel life more deeply and more compassionately. As I read and reread your entry my smile lingers throughout the day. I look forward to your next post! It was wonderful to do Qi Gong together with you and Charlene, online with the virtual flock. Sending my love to you, Charlene, Steven, Gabe and Ally as this journey continues to unfold in unbelievable ways. Can’t wait to be less than six feet apart!

I echo what so many of your loved ones have said. Bob, it is an amazing gift to hear and feel you through your own voice, in your own powerful writing. The story of being pulled from the river at age 4 and your clear memories of that event are staggering. Charlene, you, along with Steven, Gabe and Ally, truly have made it possible for Bob to be where he is now. That’s an understatement! What a wonderful wonderful post.
