Bob’s Story

Site created on September 15, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Bob Jarmusz, a beloved friend and family member to many!  The purpose of this site is to provide information and updates on Bob's condition, so that you, his family and friends, are kept current on his status.   Bob is currently at a hospice home in San Mateo following a recent diagnosis of an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer by his doctor at Kaiser, Redwood City.    The last few weeks since Bob learned the news have been challenging.   He recently moved from his home to the Hospice Center to insure 24/7 caregiving and support.    Thanks to all the close friends and network who had been providing a significant portion of Bob's care along with a wonderful, paid evening caregiver, Terry, with whom Bob connected very well.   Since Thursday, September 13,  several members of Bob's family have been in town visiting, including adult children and spouses.   He is enjoying seeing them very much.    We encourage anyone who comes to this site to share their thoughts and goodwishes as well as to relate any stories or memories that Bob and others might appreciate.     Thank you in advance for visiting and supporting Bob's Caring site.   Please check back for updates.   Love,  Rebecca and Michael
