Bob’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Bob was diagnosed with Colon cancer in March of 2018, which metastasized to his lungs and liver in 2019. He recently had a scan that showed more cancer growth which led his Oncologist and his family to believe that the treatment is not working. Bob made the decision to stop chemotherapy, which will hopefully help pro long his life expectancy. Thank you for visiting.

Today we all went to the crematorium to see Bob for the last time. The obituary which should be in the paper tomorrow was dictated by Bob. Last summer when we thought he was dying(before the experimental drug), we prepared everything we could in advance. Now, I am so glad we did. Thank you all for your condolences and comments about Bob. I’m sure he is smiling.
