Bob was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. He is so relieved to be back at home. He will receive daily antibiotic infusions at home through a nurse for the next 4-6 weeks. After they removed Bob's port they discovered he had an abscess in his back. He had a procedure two days after removing his port to remove the abscess. They needed to rid his body of any source of infection to help clear the staph infection in his blood.
The Bacterial Pneumonia and the Respiratory Virus have not been causing Bob issues. We are thankful for that. Thank you for your care and concern for Bob and Carol. We ask for your continued prayers as Bob heals at home.
