I loved Robert. I enjoyed listening to him read while on the Senate Floor. His ability to read and enunciate was amazing. Over the years, i enjoyed listening to him sing, play the trumpet or guitar, and tell some great stories. He was a pleasure to spend time with. I looked forward each year to seeing and hearing him during the session. Robert I will miss you, your voice and your smile. Rest in Peace my friend.
Thanks to everyone who visited Bobby yesterday...I know he died in peace knowing how much his friends cared for him. I was also able to locate his brother in Detroit, and he called Bobby last night. Never doubt the inherent goodness of the human race. There are a few stinkers, but most people are wonderful, and step up in a time of need.
