Bobby’s Story

Site created on June 29, 2018

This site is being created to help keep everyone updated about Mom’s cancer journey, as we all know that she has many people who love her and are praying for her.  This is Donna, who will be the main contributor of the page, so it will be largely written from a daughter’s perspective, but will get input from Mom when I can.

Journal entry by Donna Herrington

Three treatments down, and happily not nauseated; but just like we knew to expect, after two treatments, the hair started coming out like crazy, so Mom couldn’t wait to get it gone!  Karan and Tabbitha took care of that, with a little fun along the way-they decided Mom needed a little crazy color in her hair like SOMEONE else they know, and the next thing you know, Mom had some green hair!  Minor side effects, nothing major.  We will see the oncologist this week, and see what she has to say. Keep praying-for her blood work to be good enough not to have to skip a treatment (what mom really worries about, because she really wants to finish all her treatments as scheduled), and for the chemo to knock out all the cancer of course!
