Journal entry by Jessica Harris

Today has been 3 months since we were @ MDA in Houston and mom had The BEST News that “there was no longer a disease to treat”. She was advised by her oncologist that for the first year while in “observation” (remission) status, she should be scanned every 3 months. Today marks 3 months and her first routine scan. I am so happy to share good news - she actually beat me getting this typed up and on facebook ;) ... so below are her words summarizing the good news!

I just wanted to share our Praise. It was time for my “3 month observation” scan as the Dr called it... She suggested I have it done in Tupelo instead of going to Houston (due to travel) at this time.

I had at PET Scan and an MRI this morning and followed up with Dr Kellum who is my oncologist in Tupelo. He went over scans with us and when we were looking at the results of the MRI Danny ask where the lesions were .. and he said you can not see them.

The Pet Scan showed no new growth and he said it looked like only scar tissue in my left lung where the cancer originated. He said everything is good at this time. He said he would see me again in 3 months.

Thank each and everyone that has prayed, called , or thought of us in any way. I am living proof that Miracle do happen.  God Is Good all the time.”

🙌🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼💗 We sure do miss visiting them during this time of social distancing. We can’t wait to get together soon! Thanks for all the love, support and prayers through this 11 month journey.
Much Love... Jen, Jes, Walt & Sabrina
